ResourcesToday you will continue to work with solving radical equations, but it will be slightly different than the work you have done up to this point. You have previously worked with radical equations that have all involve solving linear equations as the last step. This lesson will focus on problems where you must solve quadratic equations after eliminating the radical. The way in which you do these problems is identical to what you have done previously. However, once you isolate and eliminate the radical the resulting equation will be quadratic. At that point we will solve the quadratic equation by factoring, graphing, or with the quadratic formula. Please check your work at the end to see if either of the solutions is extraneous. I HIGHLY recommend watching the first two videos in their entirety (multiple times if necessary) before attempting the assignment for today. Please email me with any questions you may have. | AssignmentONLY DO #22, 23, & 24
