ResourcesToday we will continue to work with logarithms. Eventually we will be using logarithms to help us solve exponential functions, but for now we just need to get a better feel for what they are and how they work. This lesson will focus on properties of logarithms. For now, this is one of those things that you need to know exists and how to use it. Do not get caught up in the "why does this work" just focus on the "how does the process work." You will have time to clear up the "why" once we are back in a classroom. | AssignmentYou will need to use the desmos calculator (or equivalent) for this activity. Logarithms are found under the "FUNCTIONS" button, "Misc." heading. There are 2 different log buttons. If you see a subscript (base) with the log, you need to use the button that has log with a subscript "b." If it does not have a subscript, then you can use the first button that does not have a subscript. Do not worry about part #5. We will address natural logs later.
